South Sudanese Changemakers
Celebrating Black History: Stories From Junub
In America, February 1st begins a month-long practice of observing black history. To understand the struggle of black liberation is to recognize that the struggles of black people across the diaspora are both interconnected and dependent on the other; thus, this series, titled South Sudanese Changemakers, seeks to give reverence to those who founded, led, and contributed to the secession of present-day South Sudan.
